NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - TOWN OF SHELDON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing pursuant to Town Law §202-b will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Sheldon at the Sheldon Town Hall located at 1380 Centerline Rd., Strykersville, New York on the 17th day of March 2015 commencing at 7:30 p.m. to give citizens the opportunity to discuss the proposed upgrades and approval of Part Two of the Varysburg Water District and its potential cost.

Specific discussion will be relative to approval of  the second part of the Varysburg Water District project to add water line across the Stony Brook Creek crossing, omitting School street but continuing Eastward on 20 A for the distance that the budget permits. This portion will cost $70,000 but will not affect the cost of water per EDU as the Town will be accepting a grant from New York State in the amount of $50,000 and utilizing an additional $20,000 from the Water District Fund. It is believed that this project will be a zero dollar project for the Town.

ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS HEARING WILL BE ENTITLED TO BE HEARD AT THE TIME AND PLACE THEREOF

By order of the Town Board,

Carol Zittel, Clerk

Town of Sheldon
