NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
Pursuant To Section 506 - Real Property Tax Law, Notice is hereby given that the Assessor for the Towns of Orangeville and Sheldon, County of Wyoming, State of New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year. The Tentative Assessment Roll is available for inspection at Wyoming County Real Property at 143 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and also on our website: https://www.wyomingco.net/150/Real-Property-Tax-Services
The Assessor, or someone designated by the Assessor, will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on the following dates and times: All by appointment only: May 22 thru 24, Wednesday thru Friday, May 23th from 6-8 pm, and May 25th from 9am – 1pm. NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW Pursuant To Section 512 - Real Property Tax Law, the Board of Assessment Review will meet at the following times and places for the purpose of hearing and examining all written complaints in relation to assessments; Orangeville meets June 5th at their Town Office from 4-8pm. Sheldon Meets June 11th at their Town Office from 4-8pm. Complaint forms must be completed and brought to appointment to be heard by the Board of Assessment Review. A publication titled “How To File For A Review Of Your Assessment” and complaint forms are available online at http://www.tax.ny.gov/pit/property/contest/contestasmt.htm. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Sheldon Planning Board will hold a special meeting with the Wyoming County Department of Zoning on May 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sheldon Town Hall, 1380 Centerline Rd., Strykersville, NY 14145 to work on a new Zoning Law for the Town.
